A hypoallergenic novel protein with natural fibre from the fur.
Feeding a rabbit ear isn't a deworming protocol, whatever some brands claim. Worms attach to or live within the gut, they're not loose debris that fur sweeps out, and if it were that easy, dogs wouldn't need real dewormers given how much hair they already swallow grooming themselves. It sounds natural, but there's no good evidence it works. What a rabbit ear does deliver is real, and it's below.
- High-protein, low-fat treat
- A novel protein, the kind vets use in elimination diets for pets that react to chicken or beef
- Cartilage is a natural source of glucosamine and chondroitin, the same joint-support compounds sold as supplements
- The fur isn't digested, so it passes through as coarse roughage. Not nutrition, and not a dewormer
