Sardines are small, oily fish that school by the thousand.
Sardines are wild-caught only. They're not farmed anywhere, since they travel and breed in the open ocean in shoals too large and fast-moving to pen in. Where ours comes from shifts with the season, sourced from a mix of catches including Australian and domestic Shandong waters, and it's processed in China, the same hub as the rest of our seafood range.
